Application:

This specification covers the requirements for Aluminium Tape, one side or both sides coated with Copolymer used for shielding of insulated power cables and for protection of telecommunication cables (metallic & fiber optic) to provide moisture barrier under the sheath.

Application:

Steel Cable Wrap is used as an armor on optical fiber cables. It combines the strength of steel with the corrosion protection of EAA copolymer.

0.15, 0.185, 0.19, 0.20 mm Aluminium Foil +/- 0.01 mm
Aluminium Alloy 1100, 1145 or 1060
Temper “O”, coated on one or both sides with blue tinted or transparent Ethylene Acrylic Acid Copolymer 0.058 mm +/-0.013 mm
Roll Length 2000 to 2200 m or per customer’s requirement

Electrolytically Chrome – Coated Steel.
